The White House announced a new initiative aimed at getting more people in the US vaccinated. In this new effort, Biden administration has collaborated with Uber and Lyft to offer a free vehicle to the promise of vaccination. This initiative is part of the broader new steps intended to get 70 percent of US adults who are vaccinated with at least one shot on July 4.

Under new programs, every adult in the US can get a free trip to the location of their local vaccination using Uber or Lyft. Both travel sharing companies will promote new opportunities in their respective applications, allowing users to choose the nearest vaccination site and exchange free trips to the destination.

The company will start offering this free vehicle under the program in the next two weeks, according to the White House, and they will remain available until 4. July is that many people may have limited transportation options, and by giving them a free trip, more people maybe choose to get vaccination which is the opposite will wait longer.

In addition to free, Biden’s administration also announced a new partnership between the pharmacy and community college which has a high registration number that will produce vaccination clinics in place. The local community, as well as students and staff, will be able to get Covid-19 vaccine in college.

In addition, FEMA assistance funds are now available for local governments, states, and tribes for the purposes of community outreach and ‘involvement’ related to vaccination efforts. These efforts can include things such as telephone and text initiatives that warn the community when vaccines are available, helping businesses make their employees vaccinated with things like a pop-up clinic, and more
